I am not a typical fan of photography from behind the back. However, there is just something about this photo I enjoy, or am able to relate to. I think it is the body language that gets me the most. When I see this, I see a sad, worried, woman. Lost perhaps. Her being topless, gives a sense that she is all natural, or pure. Trying not to lose her innocence as well maybe. The colors in this photo are terrific. Her skin tone matches the colors of the forest nicely. Again, back to the model. When I look at this, I wonder what the expression is on her face. The hand on her shoulder tells me that she may also be hurt, rather it be internal or physical. I think that the chain on her neck takes away from this photo.
I get the same issues with eating disorder accusations when I'm really just thin. It's a nightmare when so many people insist I MUST just not eat at all in order to be as thin as I am. :/
Absolutely lovely shot, by the way. It can be interpreted in so many different ways. I love it.
